Using this site

This website is provided by FOJI Raceworks Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13326481. It is here for general information about our work and services, and to sell the parts and clothing in our shop. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Buying something from the shop is a separate agreement on top of these terms, and it has its own document. Our sale terms cover price, delivery, pre-orders, the rocker cover exchange, cancellation and returns. Where these terms and the sale terms say different things about a purchase, the sale terms are the ones that apply to it.

Content and pricing

We take care to keep the site accurate, but it is offered as a guide only. Any prices shown for workshop jobs, including the Brake Upgrader estimates, are indicative and are confirmed in writing once we have seen the car. Nothing on this site is a binding quote or an offer to contract.

That does not apply to the shop. Anything in the shop is sold at the price shown on its page and in the basket, with delivery shown separately before you pay, and what you are charged is what you were shown. Everything else about a purchase, including the point at which the sale is made, is set out in our sale terms and not in this section.

Intellectual property

The FOJI Raceworks name, logos, images, build stories and page content are our property or used with permission, apart from questions left by visitors, which belong to the people who wrote them. Please do not copy or reuse our content without asking us first.

Questions on our blog posts

Our build stories and field notes have a box for questions. It is a questions box, not a review box. We do not ask anyone to leave one, we do not pay or reward anyone for leaving one, and we never write one under somebody else’s name.

Every question is read by us before anything appears. We may publish it, edit it for length, decline it, answer it in public underneath, or take it down later. Nothing here obliges us to publish anything or to keep anything up.

By sending a question you confirm the words are your own, and you give us permission to publish them on this website with your first name, and to keep them there while the page is up. What you write stays yours.

We remove questions that name another person or business, that include a vehicle registration, that are abusive or discriminatory, that advertise something, that concern a dispute we are involved in, or that are aimed at another visitor rather than at us. Visitors cannot reply to one another here, by design.

A published question is the opinion of the person who wrote it, not ours. Our answer underneath is ours.

The question box is for adults, and is not intended for anyone under 18.

If something published here concerns you, whether it is about you, your business, or something you wrote yourself, email james@fojiraceworks.co.uk and tell us which page it is on and which words they are. Our practice is to take it off the page first and work out what to do afterwards.

Other websites

Where we link to other websites, such as our social channels or embedded videos and maps, we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

Paying for an order takes you off this website. The payment page belongs to Stripe, who take the payment for us, not to us. What happens to your details there is covered in our privacy notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
