We’re Mazda MX-5 specialists at heart, and we work on plenty of other Japanese cars and BMWs too. We work by appointment, on the harder end of the trade: the welding, fabrication, and restoration jobs that need real planning and depth.
The work covers servicing, engine builds, and MX-5 turbo and engine conversions. We only take on work we are capable of doing properly. We also outsource one thing on purpose: we don’t do exterior paint in house, so that goes to a body shop, and we say so up front.
We also handle motorsport wiring, ECU installations, and safety device fitment such as roll cages, alongside motorsport fabrication, exhausts, intakes, and manifolds. Every job gets the same approach: planned first, built properly.

What started as a hobby some ten years ago, building and tuning my own Mazda MX-5, grew into a full-time business. From learning TIG welding in a small unit to running our larger workshop today, the two of us, we’ve built up the skills and equipment for the work we set out to do: the fabrication and restoration jobs most shops won’t take on.
These days that means motorsport builds, fabrication, restoration, metal work and engine conversions. Different cars, same standard.

How we work
You See Everything
A garage is a closed door. You hand over a car you care about and you can’t see what happens to it. We work the other way. The job is planned first. We look the car over before pricing anything big, and the work is photographed as it happens.
What we find goes to you in writing, the good and the bad, and if something turns up mid-job that wasn’t in the plan, we tell you before we touch it. The car leaves with its records: the inspection report, the photos, and a completion report. You don’t take our word for it. You hold the record.
