Motorsport & Modification
Maintain
Servicing, maintenance and track preparation for MX-5s, other Japanese cars and BMWs. Brakes, clutches and exhaust work, wheels and tyres, four-wheel alignment, suspension repair and replacement.
The aim is the same whatever the job: keep the car right, on the road or on the circuit.
Modify
Not every project is a full build. We take on focused upgrades too: engine builds and conversions, forced induction and individual throttle body setups, suspension work such as poly bushes, coilovers and anti-roll bars, and brake upgrades.
The test for any modification is simple. Does it make the car measurably better to drive, own or run? If it does not, we will tell you.
Tailor
No two cars or drivers are the same. From a bespoke kit car like the MEV Exocet shown here to a fully developed road and track car, every element is considered as one package: chassis, suspension, powertrain, fabrication, wiring and safety. The finished car performs exactly as intended.

02 · In-house
Fabrication

Bespoke
From concept to finished component: intakes, exhausts and manifolds, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, designed for fit, flow and reliability. Each part is designed, made and test-fitted here. If you can describe it, we can usually build it.
Welding
Specialist TIG and MIG welding, for fine fabrication and structural work: chassis reinforcement and modification, bespoke parts, and roll cage fabrication, all to motorsport standard.
Performance part or critical safety structure, the standard is the same: strong, clean, checked.
Design
We take ideas from concept to reality in 3D CAD, then 3D print and prototype before any metal is cut. Mistakes get caught in plastic, not in finished steel.

Restoration
Philosophy
Our restoration standard is simple: OEM quality or better, every weld, panel and repair. The finished car should be structurally sound, durable, and look as though it left the factory that way.
Repair
Specialists in MX-5, Japanese and BMW welding and restoration, from arches, sills and panels to full underbody repairs. We are clinical about cutting corrosion right out. A repair has to restore full structural integrity, or it is not finished.
Restore
Full nut-and-bolt restorations: underbody, panels and chassis brought back element by element. Whether it is a classic MX-5, a Japanese sports car or a BMW, it leaves here ready for years of proper use, road or track.

What things start at
Indicative Pricing
These are starting points, not quotes. The final figure is confirmed once we have seen the car, and bigger jobs can run past the starting number.
Why these numbers
These are not quick-fix prices, because the work behind them is not quick-fix work. A welding job means the rot is cut right out and fresh steel let in and dressed back, not skimmed over with filler. A bespoke part is designed, made and test-fitted to your car. The number covers the car being assessed first, the job planned, and the work done once, properly, so you are not paying for it again in two years.
Sills & Structural Welding
From £500 per side
A straightforward side starts around here. Heavier corrosion can run well beyond £2,500 a side, depending on how much steel has to come out and go back in. The car is always assessed first.
Major Service With Cambelt
From £650
Cambelt, water pump, new plugs, oil and filters, and a full clean-down. A proper interval service, not just the belt.
Bespoke Exhaust Manifold
From £1,000
A bespoke four-branch manifold starts here. The naturally aspirated manifolds we build for ITB conversions are £1,350.
Bespoke Exhaust
From £550
A rear back box starts around £550 and a full cat-back from £1,000, both depending on the car. It really comes down to what you have and what you want, so each system is priced to the car.
Underbody Restoration
Priced per car
Too variable to put a single number on honestly. We look at the car, scope exactly what it needs, and quote from there.
Every price is confirmed in writing once we have seen the car. We would always rather quote accurately than guess.
Planning ahead
Underbody restorations, full engine conversions, and bigger builds are typically booked around six months ahead. If you have a project like this in mind, it pays to plan early and get the car in the diary.
